Transfer from Houseboat at Alleppey to Kovalam. The most popular beach in Kerala
is situated at Kovalam, Check into the Resort. You could spend the evening at the

• Padmanabhaswamy Temple – The temple is near the East Fort city bus stand and is dedicated
to Lord Vishnu it has some interesting sculptures. The temple architecture is a blend of
the Keraleian and Dravidian styles. The fort wall encloses the older parts of the city including the temple. The temple pond and the traditional Kerala style buildings surrounding the temple are the other interesting attractions. Like most other
temples, only Hindus are allowed inside the temple.
• Velli Lagoon – The Velli Tourist Village is just on the outskirts of the city. The place is
a good picnic spot with some good restaurants and boating facility in the Bottle
Green River. The beach is the other attraction. The local fishing activity near the
beach area is an interesting sight.
