Day 1: Cochin
Pickup from Cochin Airport / Railway station, and check into the Hotel at Cochin (12 Noon). Proceed for sightseeing of Ernakulam City in the afternoon.
• Jewish Synagogue: constructed in 1568, this is the oldest synagogue in the common wealth.
• Jew town: the area around the Synagogue is the centre for spice trade & curio shopping.
• Fort Cochin
• St. Francis church: built in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan friars, this is the oldest European church in India where Vasco da gama was buried in 1524 before his remains were removed to Lisbon, Portugal
• Dutch palace: Also called Mattanchery Palace, built in 1555 by Portuguese.
• Chinese fishing nets: These huge cantilevered fishing nets are the legacy of one of the first visitors to the Malabar Coast. Overnight at the Hotel in Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin – Munnar
Transfer to Munnar, check-in to the Resort at Munnar. This beautiful hill-station ispopular for its cool climate and Tea plantations.
• Eravikulam National Park: this sanctuary provides close viewing of Nilgiri Tahr
• Rajmala
• TATA Tea Museum
• Pondenmedu View Point etc.

Day 3: Munnar
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing.• Devikulam: known for its exotic Flora & Fauna
• Pallivasal: First Hydroelectric Project in Kerala
• Echo point
• Top station: famous for Neelkurinji-which blooms once every twelve years
• Mattupetty Dam
• Kundala Dam etc.
Overnight at the Resort in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady
Transfer to Periyar (Thekkady). Thekkady has one of the world’s most fascinating natural wild life reserves – the Periyar wild life sanctuary (Tiger Reserve). Check inat Resort in Thekkady.
• Boat cruise: Avail boat cruise of the Periyar lake, incase you are lucky you can watch a herd of elephants in its natural habitat.
• Plantation visit
Overnight at the Resort in Thekkady.
Day 5: Thekkady – Kumarakom
Transfer to Kumarakom and check into the resort. Kumarakom is famous for its backwater. Then proceed for local sightseeing. • Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary: Located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake, the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, an ornithologist’s paradise, is a favourite haunt of
migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter heron and teal. Other common varieties like the woodpecker, skylark, crane,
• water hen and parrots can also be spotted here.

Day 6: Kumarakom – Alleppey (Houseboat)
Transfer to the Houseboat at Alleppey. The Cruise through the backwaters ofVembanad Lake is truly exhilarating. This is the best way of seeing the backwater,
which takes you on an Alleppey Round.
On the way, overnight in the Houseboat.
Day 7: Alleppey – Kovalam
Transfer from Houseboat at Alleppey to Kovalam. The most popular beach in Keralais situated at Kovalam, Check into the Resort. You could spend the evening at the
beach. Overnight at the resort.
Day 8: Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam
Proceed for Trivandrum City tour. • Padmanabhaswamy Temple – The temple is near the East Fort city bus stand and is dedicated
to Lord Vishnu it has some interesting sculptures. The temple architecture is a blend of
the Keraleian and Dravidian styles. The fort wall encloses the older parts of the city including the temple. The temple pond and the traditional Kerala style buildings surrounding the temple are the other interesting attractions. Like most other temples, only Hindus are allowed inside the temple.
• Velli Lagoon – The Velli Tourist Village is just on the outskirts of the city. The place is a good
picnic spot with some good restaurants and boating facility in the Bottle
Green River. The beach is the other attraction. The local fishing activity near the
beach area is an interesting sight.

Day 9: Kovalam – Trivandrum/Cochin
After Breakfast transfer to Trivandrum / Ernakulam Railway station / Airport.
